Grey Granite:I'll make this quick. 1995 - 2002 I was hooked up and linked to Hip Hop through my Cousin. We had a group called Parasyte. We started as kids and it started to fade as we grew up.

When the group came to an end it was like the end of my world! Music was all I knew. I had never really been on my own at it.

I was lost for a while. But I had to do what I knew- and that was music! so I called on all my connects, found a place to record only 3 hours away, learned how to make beats, learned how to do graphic design, got all the rappers that I rolled with, and prayed for the best producer ever to come into my life. Then I worked day and night on it for one year.

2003 I finished my first solo album and... it was AWESOME! It was my baby! My last wish came late. BUT, it came. BTAM introduced me to a beat that I just had to have to complete this project. But, more importantly he introduced me to J. Brookinz. We didn't really get to make all the music I wanted due to the fact that Brookz didn't live in the city. Plus, he thought I was crazy. Anyway, I got what I wanted!

So I got the album done- now what!?! I tried to get shows and know one would look out (except dicky fox from twilight sentinels. he put me on a show at the Casba I brought out a bunch of people and he gave me $. I will never forget that).This was just before the internet music explosion. I made about 500 copies, sold some,and gave more out. But, I couldn't get over the hump! I was so hurt...

NOW, through the magic of the Internet, I can deliver all the ideas that drive me and keep me from sleeping at night. I can give you--- AquaPhoenix!!!!
