About Chelsea
Chelsea Greene Lewyta was born and raised in New York and is ethnically Ukrainian. Her older sister was adopted from Korea as a baby. Her parents exposed her and her sister to a lot of Asian culture and this is where the Asian print and Asian motifs in Chelsea’s work originate from.
Chelsea is interested in book illustration, including children’s and young adult, comics and graphic novels, fashion, greeting cards, and editorial illustration. She also has type, advertisement, web design and graphic design knowledge. She plans to keep working freelance while in school to help jump start her professional career.
