Rather than being a hodgepodge of multimedia effects, humanature’s
dance, music, spoken word and video converge into moments of virtual
synesthesia. It’s an impressive performance that lets the enormously
talented individuals shine on their own, while playing off each others’
interdisciplinary strengths. The dancers combine traditional and modern
techniques to present a visual delight, wisely not over-polishing their
program to the point of sterility. The raw beauty of their movements is
offset by music that, at times, simultaneously recalls both Philip
Glass and Roy Buchanan with its shifting, rapid rhythms and singing
cello and guitar. Spoken word and video give moments of repose from the
dancing, though never letting go of the audience’s imagination. The
moments featuring only video projection and cello are arguably the
show’s most beautiful. Any IndyFringe-goer had better have a good

Sneak Peak @ Modern Warfare 2
Wow. This looks like ta STRONG contender for Game of the Year from this smidge of gameplay alone. I'm really surprised. It looks like they are bluring the lines between FPS and Action Movie. Only time will tell. Between this and Uncharted 2, it's going to be a good holiday season.

The premise is to come out on a Sunday afternoon and hang all day getting the hair of the dog that bit you, with your friends and DJs A Squared Industries and DJ Action Jackson playing all your favorite songs!
Great downtempo, indie rock, electro and retro spun on the one's and two's inside "Wasted Space" on the deck of La Jolla - good food on a new menu, a full bar, and good times!
DJ Oh Be One will also be there as a guest DJ on the 30th as well!
If you think this is a great way to spend time with friends (and family those of you with the kiddos that want to join!), then come on out the afternoon of Sunday the 30th!
We need a great crowd in order to secure this as a weekly event through the end of summer and fall, so be sure to be there!

Yellowbird Camera
"The Yellowbird Camera that records in 360 makes a photo 360 view look pretty one dimensional. Watch the demo video, you can press play and move the cursor in the direction that you want to see.
"A variant of the yellowBird camera is being utilized within the Google Streetview technology. The prominent difference is that the yellowBird camera records video instead of photographs. The camera uses six cleverly divided lenses in order to capture every possible viewing direction. The data stream generated by the camera is impressive. Through a double glass-fiber connection, a stream of 1200 Mbit per second is captured and saved in an uncompressed format. Next to the camera, a surround sound microphone system enables to record audio at 96 khz as well.
The yellowbird camera can be utilized in a variety of ways. First of all, videos can be captured from a regular tripod. Additionally the camera can be setup within a steadycam suit and "float" above the head of the camera operator. Furthermore, multiple connections support the camera to be mounted on a car or under a helicopter. ""

Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 Mixtape
This is really more of a compilation rather than a mixtape. The actual vinyl is a limited edition that was handed out at ComicCon. Part of what makes this really cool is that Capcom must have realized that the original score to Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 i s some of the worst music in the history of videogames. When I had this game for Dreamcast, I used to turn my TV's sound off and listen to mixtapes anyway, so this is perfect. If you have downloaded the game for your PS3 there is an option to replace the original soundtrack with this.
There were only 200 of them pressed up, so if you know anybody that has one it is worth ruining the friendship to steal it from them.

New PS3 Slim OFFICIALLY announced!!! for $299!!!
FINALLY after tons of speculation and rumors. The new PS3 has been announced @ Gamescon in Germany. The release date is Early Sept. And the price is $299 ($100 cheaper than the old PS3) I guess Sony wants the crown back.

HG (Grey): I was at a hiphop show recently and almost everybody on stage came off like they came right out of your nut sack and, you raised them up to be good emcees but they fell a bit short and turned out to be just ok with the rhymes. I think people think they have it (what it takes) and they can rap but, it just doesn’t translate well when they are on a stage with 50 or 100 party people in front of them. Can you please give them a hint, how can they improve on this?
