In February, Grey Granite and J. Brookinz unveiled their foray into electropop, Lust Poisons Pride, and garnered quite a bit of attention from media outlets such as: Sound Verite, Loyal KNG, The Musical Family Tree, Bringing Down the Band, Metromix Indianapolis, and Nuvo. Carrying on from the album's initial success, the Heavy Gun duo has teamed up with the almighty emcee, alpha.live, for a remix of "Colorful Mask" from LPP. This is the first time that these three have collaborated since the infamous original version of "The Bar". To make the release even sweeter, Heavy Gun Recordings is giving it to you for FREE!
Ashley Wood (1971) was born in Australia, and now resides in Australia and The United States. He lives with his wife, his two sons, and one stinky cat. Ashley has been a professional illustrator for over ten years, and has worked for most major entertainment companies including Dreamworks SKG, Warner Bros., Random House, Marvel Comics, McFarlane Entertainment, IDW, and Konami.
His illustration technique is a combination of traditional painting techniques, coupled with digital photography and graphic software
